ABOUT US

What started out as a love for Bernese Mountain Dogs has grow into the lifestyle and business of my dreams! Growing up I had always wanted to own a Bernese but could never afford one. In 2017 I decided to take the plunge and try to find 2 females with breeding rights and journey down the road of dog breeding. After a year of searching I brought Milo and Callie home in 2018 and Mallie Berners was born!

Striving to provide my dogs with the best life possible, I give them free range of my 140 acre farm to explore and investigate their world. Their favorite places include the creek right behind the house and sitting between my legs while I’m trying to work.

My laid back and easy going dog parenting style that has been pasted on to my 4 fur kids. They are relaxed, free-and-easy dogs that love to greet everyone the meet with excitement and enthusiasm.

I have set out to breed Bernese Mountain Dogs that are healthy and free of genetic disorders and bring joy and love to their families. I think all Berners should be happy, excited and sociable dogs with space to run, play, explore and enjoy the world around them! When aligned with owners that has a lifestyle that fits the breed, and the specific dog they bring home, they can have the freedom to travel and socialize with their family and be exposed to people, kids, and other dogs and animals of all shapes and sizes.

 Our facilities

Located on my farm outside Woodstock, ON, the kennel was designed to offer the best of the best to my dogs! It is endearingly known by family and friends as the Puppy Palace!

The perfect mix of modern and rustic it features 5 whelping stalls that are each equipped with an enclosed puppy area and heat lamp, in stall water, and security cameras for close monitoring of mamma and pups. The dogs are able to comfortably relax on a padded bed of cardboard chips that allows for easy cleaning and sanitation to ensure the health of pups and adult dogs alike. With the thick and warm coat that Berners have in mind, air conditioning was installed to help them with cope with the hot and humid summer days of Southwestern Ontario. And yes, the dogs get AC even when the humans in the old farm house don’t!

Construction is underway to add a grooming salon adjacent to the kennel to keep the dogs looking their best everyday!
