Bring a puppy home when it works.
You don't have to rush to bring home a puppy because you found one last minute, even if that weekend was not the best fit for you. You can postpone bringing home a puppy to travel, attend to things in your personal life or to line it up with time off work. You can keep your spot on the waitlist and pick it up when it works well for you!

Take time to prepare.
Since you will know ahead of time when you are picking up the puppy you can take the time you need to prepare your home and mentally prepare for training. Bringing home a puppy is like bringing home a new born baby, they need lots of attention and it may come with less sleep at night. Preparation makes everything easier!

You can find the right fit.
Whether you know exactly what you are looking for, or are just looking for the right feeling when you meet a pup, you can take the time to find the right fit for you and your family. If you meet a litter and don’t find what you are looking for, you can keep your spot on the waitlist and wait for the next litter.
How does it work?
To secrure your place on the waitlist first we want to make sure our breeding program is the right fit for you! Whether connecting on the phone, FaceTime or come out and visit the farm to meet the dogs and pups.
If you decided we are the right for for you then you will send you a contract to sign and then you will place a $500 deposit to secure your place for a Mallie Berners Bernese Mountain Dog puppy. Order of the waitlist is determined by when the deposit was received.
Once both the contract and deposit have been received you will officially be placed on the list and your price and place will be held for 18 months. If after 18 months you haven't found the right dog your deposit will be applied to the current deposit and purchase price and you will keep your place on the list.
We know that bringing the right dog home at the right time is important to both yours and the puppies' success. You don't have to select any puppy from any litter. If you don't find a puppy that is a good fit, you will keep your spot on the list and can select from the next litter.
Should you change your mind, deposits are 50% refundable. The other 50% goes towards covering the service of managing the waitlist.

Many people have a vision what what their future dog will look like. When you think about having a dog there’s probably a picture that pops in your heads.
We recommend making the final call on what puppy is right for you on temperament rather then markings. If you don’t find a dog what works into your lifestyle you will find yourself frustrated and disappointed.
Markings can definitely come into play, you want to enjoy the look of your dog as well, but put a heavier weight into the personality of the dog.
